The Classic Bokhara Rug originates from India, but are now widely produced in Pakistan & Afghanistan. Also known as Afghan Rugs, are popular for the thick hand-knotted texture, heavy pile and attractive colors (burgundy, red, dark blue/navy, black or brown with ivory undertones). Their designs consist of repeating octagonal guls (elephantβs foot), conjoined rhombus medallions, or floral patterns.
