Senneh rugs are made with an asymmetrical knot. They are of high quality and their most common design patterns are geometric, with Herati motifs woven throughout. Medallions are also placed into the design sometimes with large and small going into one another. The background colors that are commonly used on Senneh rugs are, cherry red, navy, black, brown, and beige. Motif and design colors vary from, yellow, red, light green, orange, and white.
